It all comes together fantastically, the tree, the sky and the loch with a great backdrop.

A familiar looking tree, I am sure I have seen this on that side of the Loch. Thinking of it brings back a memory of walking north and finding a Male Pied Flycatcher singing outside Rob Roy’s cave and having to get my bird book out to work out what it was :-)

I always like a nice lone tree shot..........although from the shadows I suspect the tree is not quite as lonely as it seems :-))

The tree is quite lovely and looks like it's been there forever battling the wind and weather. A cracking view across the loch too. The light on the hills and mountains is just gorgeous.

Four distinct bands with the tree uniting them. Very effective composition -- it helped guide my eyes through the view.
