We were almost ready for a sit down after the uphill climb but we had places to go and see, so a snap, snap and away we went. Very happy that you enjoyed these.

This bench seems to be facing the wrong direction. Lovely scenery in the background with a light dusting of icing sugar.

There was a big view for miles from the front into the big flat valley but I, like you preferred the back. Glad you enjoyed this.

Great landscape, Herb, with a beautiful variety of vegetation, a dusting of snow still on the mountains and just the kind of bench one needs to find at the end of a trek!

A perfect place for a bench.............and by the time you've hiked up that far, you probably need to sit down for a while anyway.

The view looking back from the bench is just magnificent..........especially those snow capped peaks and I love the earthy colours in the foreground. It seems such a shame to sit with your back to all that.

Great to see an alternative view in the PiP............and while it's not as dramatic, it's certainly just as beautiful.

Yes, it was like a dream in some ways. I know we have seen this sort of thing, around a corner at a peak on the high Alpine mountains too. Most glad that you enjoyed it.

It look a little cool in the Trossachs Herb! A wonderful backdrop for the bench though. A great view from both sides!! HBM and wish you a good and sunny new week ~ Rosa.

It was pretty cool for sure. We were both wearing our gloves up here. Thankfully the scenery paid us off in big style as you see for yourself too.
