Twas a great walk with this great steep hill being at the very start. A couple of great little waterfalls too. I am sure you would like that area my friend.

Ah yes, there were some super views from up here, as will be see later. As we are both septuagenarians we have tried to keep ourselves fit. At least fit enough to do a walk like this once in a blue moon. Like you we manage at least two walks a week of around 5 miles but on holidays we do far more, as walking the local countryside and me, taking photos of such walks, is probably the biggest thing we do. At the end of the day, we never know when it will all come to an end!
Great that you enjoyed another of our Scottish walks.

A cracking view to reward your efforts though............and you've captured it beautifully. I like all the earthy colours in the landscape.

You are quite right Keith. It was hard, especially for Eileen to gain this height over a thin, stony, slippy path but the rewards were good -as long as we did not get a heart attack :) Glad you liked it.

My thanks Judite. Yes as we get older now, we still see many high places and I, in particular long to be on top of them but alas it gets more difficult to even walk the higher levels. However, when we do, we feel proud to have done it and we continue to stride for more. Glad you enjoyed it.
