Hi Nick, we had organised this holiday to avoid the infamous wee Scottish beasties and in that we did rather well -only seeing a very small amount on the shores of Loch Lomond but we were always cautious.

Simply made benches and table.............but what an amazing view through the trees! I love the composition and the light is beautiful. The mountains in the far distance make a lovely backdrop.

Thanks Rosa -it was a grand spot and you have already seen the reflections and geese from this same little lochan. Later on this same walk I would find some real wonderous views. The weather was rather mixed that first week with at least one full day of rain but the second week overall was better.
