Ah yes -I thought that, and they do look very realistic, that was why I reluctantly did not enter them into your invited ''Wooden Architecture' group. I thought some members might not have been very happy on discovering this was all plastics :)
Just a note - fortunately, most of our beach-huts around the country are very traditional and still made of wood as shown below from nearby Whitby - Many thanks for your second call here.

Well there is that for sure Toz. The huts have had the colours dyed into the plastic and so need of future painting. Not at all sure about the environmental impact with these though, so apart from making nice pictures, I don't think I agree totally with them.

Ha Judite, in that, I have to agree with you here. However, I have seen inside some of these when open and they looked quite comfortable. I think I would want real wood!

I do like a nice beach hut..............and these are especially nice with those vibrant colours and the union flag!

I'm on the fence about the uPVC cladding though..............it makes them look as if they're constructed of Lego bricks! I suppose it's all to do with saving money on future maintenance.

Thanks for joining us here Keith. Great that like me you enjoy seeing beach huts. Got to agree with your comparison to Lego bricks and yes, they must be far cheaper to maintain and possibly produce too. Will they last as long though -I rather think not.

Nice to see you again Jose and very happy that you have enjoyed the scene. I agree, I would not like to be in there with the door closed but I think they would always be open when visitors arrive.
