Thanks a lot Dave. Yes light is King in my eyes. Now you mention that 2x zoom, I am not sure if that used to be there or not. I do know it depends on the original size though. Glad you spotted, what seems to e a child. Maybe parent playing hide-&-seek.

Lovely diffused light................and beautifully composed. The hills are quite majestic and I like the subtle shadows of the clouds on their flanks.A nice patch of golden brown colour in the centre draws the eye in nicely.

I've spotted two figures I think.....one of whom seems to squatting down taking a photo. Also a possible third figure nearby as there's a tiny patch of blue which is only visible when viewed large. Probably someone's jacket :-))

Good afternoon Rosa. Wastwater, in the West of the Lake District is quite a ways from us here in Oldham. Only 80 or so miles as the crow flies but more like 130-150 by our road system. We stayed in a lovely converted barn near Ennerdale Water -just the next lake north of here. Ah pleasant memories!
