Ye olde hump-back bridge at Wastwater

Ye olde hump-back bridge at Wastwater
This little bridge, the target of many a photographer that visits Wastwater, allows the small road to go over the ‘Countess Beck’ as it finally runs into the lake. This little area (indeed also from my last two photos) is known as 'Landing Stage’. PiP for opposite side!

Hi again Rosa. A great pity that it is taking so long to get back here but understandable for this year at least. Maybe a week here and one in Whitby as a two centre holiday next year :) Great that you liked both of there of course.

A very pretty bridge Herb.................I like the stonework and it's catching the light nicely. The version in the PiP is especially lovely giving much more context and gorgeous sunshine.

Another one from the Lakes that catches your eye Keith. Two quite different views here. I like this one best but we all have our favourites - the other side looks a little more of chocolate box shot for me.
