Memories of Tuscany: Boulevard of Maritime Pines
Enjoy a short stretch here of this wonderful avenue of pines. I originally believed this to be the famous Viale dei Cipressi (Boulevard of Cypresses) near Bolgheri as we were quite close to that.

I did originally title this the Boulevard of Cypresses. Thanks to our fellow Ipernity friend Annalia S. (below) for kindly pointed out my error.

Hi Bea, its always nice to read your comments here. So glad that this has revived memories for you too (besides Annalalia & Daniela). I was pointed to this poem by G.Garducci too by both Annalia & Daniela and found t enchanting. - My last photo of Tuscany on the next page.

Mi pare che tu te la cavi più che bene, Daniela. Io ho avuto la fortuna di impararlo da molto giovane e a quell'età il cervello è più plastico :) L'altra lingua che conosco abbastanza bene è lo spagnolo. Il francese lo leggo solo e di tedesco ricordo un pò di quel che ho studiato a scuola, ma molto poco. Effettivamente ci corrono solo 4 anni tra me e te e mio marito è del tuo stesso anno!

A beautiful shot, very painterly indeed, and the greens are exquisite. I love trees, but it's always a challenge to get the color right.
I didn't actually know about that famous Avenue of the Cypresses, guess must have skipped school the day that came up :-)

Lo capisco bene nella lettura, molto meno se qualcuno di lingua madre lo parla. E so anche lo spagnolo, anche questo imparato da sola, ma lo trovo molto più facile. E essendo una grande lettrice ho continuato a leggere in tutte le lingue che conosco appena possibile. Quando abitavo a Milano era più facile, trovavo più roba. A Domodossola non c'è quasi nulla. Mi pare di capire che tu sei stata anche all'estero.
