What a great idea for a photo Herb...........you must have been up pretty early!

I like your composition..............and the symmetry. The colours work well together and you've captured the whole scene in great depth and detail. A cracker of a shot!

I'm with you on the subject of sunbathing..........I can't think of a more boring way to spend a holiday. A couple I know went to Turkey a couple of years ago and spent 2 weeks there without ever leaving the resort grounds............and then did the same thing in Cuba a year later. What a waste of time and money..!!

Not very early at all. The exif says it was about 10:30 which is approx right (I suppose it might have been 09:30 though as I always forget to alter the camera time zone settings. It was the quite season for the Italians here. We stayed on a big holiday park and we were almost by ourselves -that was great for us! I have family who never venture from their hotel complexes when abroad -just lying in the sun with a book and beer! Like you, -not for us.

A great composition and colours, Herb. I'm happy to sunbathe on the beach, but organised commercial beaches like this are unknown here and I'd also give it a miss.

Thanks George. Yes, we do not have them either -thank God! I have been know to lie on a towel for almost an hour in the sun when I was a teenager! Too dangerous by far nowadays - also with C19 still about.

The free view is great Herb :-)) I can't sit still on a beach for more than 10 minutes!

There are many about who want their holidays as Keith says but also quite a few of us 'miserable folk' about too who do not sit down, preferring to carry on walking looking for shade.
