Oh yes! Memories rise up! I've been in the Tuscany already 7 years ago. Some of my pictures also are here on IP.

Wonderful light and you got a nice curve of this alley in Volterra!

Once having visited this area, those memories never go. I see that you visited San Gimignano and this area and so you know full well its beauty. Glad you liked this and it brought back memories too.

A very well composed street candid Herb.............the light on the walls and people is lovely! Besides the colour matching to the girls red top, I also like the old lamp high up on the wall - the light has caught the glass perfectly.

I do like to take the odd candid photo Keith and this was a great little opportunity. The light overall was very nice as you have also noticed. Glad you liked it.

Beautiful snapshot!

Was this really taken today, Herb? If so, where are their masks? And even though they are standing about a metre apart, it doesn't look sufficient. But in Italy and Spain, where conversations are held within centimetres of one another, this must seem like about 10 metres in our terms!

Haha, oh yes, I have flown out their, despite the C19 restrictions and come back to post this. No, as you know full well my friend, if a photo has been edited in certain ways, they sometimes loose their Exif resulting in today's date being posted as the date taken. I had in fact altered the border here. So taken in 2011 and i have altered the date now to reflect that. (I could have put next weeks date I suppose, showing meeting being normalised again :) I do take on board your observations about the way Spanish and Italians like to get up-close to talk! I take it you liked the picture as well.
