Memories of Tuscany: The Poppy fields of Tuscany

On our way back to Cecina from Siena, we pass this wonderful iconic Tuscan landscape complete with red roofed farms, Italian cypress trees and poppies. This is one of my all-time-great landscapes which I hope you enjoy as much as me. The Pip shows my sister photograph of same.

Instant favourites...........I didn't even have to think about it..!!

Both these are beautiuflly composed and the colours are fantastic. I particularly like the version in the PiP as I just love the buildings with their red roof tiles.

Superb work Herb! I've missed the poppy fields totally this year :-(
