Scurdie Ness Lighthouse, Montrose
Another look at this wonderful lighthouse here at Ferryden, Montrose on Scotlands NorthEast coast.

This taken looking Northwards and presenting it in quite a different light. First lit in 1870, still lit today, but as with all these, there is no lighthouse-keeper now, as it is fully automated.

Vielen Dank, Lothar. Ja, es ist immer ein Gefühl der Größe, wenn man diese einsamen Wachposten erreicht. Wir waren auch einmal in Durness, in unserem Wohnwagen und ja, wir sind auch zum Leuchtturm in Cape Wrath gegangen, wo ich viele Fotos gemacht habe. Sie erinnern mich daran, vielleicht auch einige davon hier zu posten.

Glad you liked these Dany. The other two have been in Ipernity now a while and I am sure you have left comments on them already. Yes, the yellow rapeseed did make a nice platform for this lighthouse.
