Gothenburg Christmas 2012
Part of out trip to the cold north in Dec 2012. This beautiful river in the centre of Gothenburg, in Sweden is, as you can see, frozen over. In the background is a thick mist that was to soon engulf me here.

In my life I never saw a frozen river, only torrents. When I was in Sweden and Norway it was Summer.

We were surprised at seeing this too Daniela. Only a day or so before we were walking in torrential rain in Amsterdam and Copenhagen. You can expect anything in Sweden though.
