Family outing at Hope Cove

Family outing at Hope Cove
This little cave set in the village of Hope Cove near Salcombe in Devon is a wonderful day out for families in the school holidays. Fortunately the weather was fine and this cave would afford shelter in any rains.

Best full size.

Hi Herb

I really like this framed picture!

Certainly a good way to make something out of nothing much!

Great composition

Best Wishes,
Peter

Hello dear Rosa. It is always a pleasure for me when one of my photos are related to, by one of my viewers here. I sometimes see photos too, from other Ipernity embers that brings back happy memories. Our rented cottage was just a 15 min walk from here and I must agree that it was a very pleasant place in the better than average weather.- I hope you got a chance to revisit this little cove since that holiday with your parents.

Thanks a lot Peter. Yes, a cave entrance can make something special sometimes. The cove itself was a fine little spot and would have been even better in good lighting. We did manage to get a quick sunset - on the same day though, after a rush drive down from the cottage.
Cheers, Herb
