Balmoral- main garden

Balmoral- main garden
Balmoral -as the other half lives! One of these big windows belongs to the Queens bedroom. The garden was being prepared, as always to look at it's best for August when the family takes residence here.

Just lovely... also the light and the little bit of clouds. And for me, the correct, perspective. ( I know, I am too sensible to that)

Nice to see you here Eva. Yes, yet another perspective here for you. I have now included more info above too.
ps This used to be just the personal and close friend PiP but on consideration is now a full viewable by all photo. Cheers, Herb

I am sometimes sorry not to see the PIPs as separate photos.

Agreed Eva. I am just conscious of overwhelming my viewers with similar photos of the same thing :)

Not the other half, Herb. the other 1%. Almost too much for few people.

Daniela I really agree with you. Incredible that this still exists and that people really love their queen. Another way of life.

Not even 1% Daniela and not everyone here in Britain loves the monarchy. But I make no secret of being an admirer of it. This castle (like so many of our other castles) for instance, would never have been built by anybody but our Royal families. The land would still be raw fields and such a touch of real history would never exist. Almost all of our Royal castles, gardens and grounds are open to the public as testified here. My wife has also experienced the Palace and gardens of Buckingham Palace as a guest to a Royal Garden Party on behalf of my hometown Oldham.
I know that many other houses, as grand as this are privately owned and we, the public can never get near them. I have seen that in Italy too Daniela and I am sure of the same thing in Peru Eva ? - Glad you enjoyed these anyway. Thanks for the talk.
