The River Ey

The River Ey
Near the Colonels Bed Gorge. Our picnic spot with the small bridge just behind us here. This is Glen Ey which is between Braemar and the 'Linn of Dee'.

Very nice Herb. The two trees in the foreground make a super "gateway" into the shot and the shapes and textures of the rocks are wonderful. I like the colour of the water, which I assume is from peat somewhere nearby. The lush green stand of trees in the distance makes a lovely backdrop!

Full screen is a must! The trees make a good frame for the rocks and peaty water. This looks like a place I could spend hours exploring:-)
