Hi Doug, when I walked along this path, I thought it was one of the best lines to a lighthouse that I had ever seen. The curves being perfect as well as the placement of the little white out-houses.

Nice to see you again Eva. I think the fence is just a boundary line for the adjacent land to the sea from this road. I can't recall any animals in that steep narrow stretch of land.
