Little Switzerland perhaps

Little Switzerland perhaps
It is actually a view from just above the North West banks of our Lake Windermere near Wray Castle. The mountain crags are, I believe the Langdale Pikes. Now where are those cow-bells...

Hi Herb

Always nice to see your landscapes, and certainly nice cows too!

Maybe no cow bells, or snow on the mountains, or buttercups growing in the meadow, but this is the lake district with its own character. You have captured it well.

Best wishes, and a good weekend

Hi Peter, always good to see you here. Very happy that you enjoyed this scene and as you say very distinctive of our Lake District. Maybe I should have looked for some buttercups as there were surely some somewhere near!
