Among the many pleasures of photography is always having an excuse to step away from lengthy lectures or awkward conversations. And this fence/shadow was a worthy excuse, with its shadows set so well against the geometric patterns of the cobblestones and tiles.

Thanks a lot Peter. Very happy that you liked it. I would like to say, yes, I thought it all out but in truth I just slowly made my way to this higher fenced area next to our path, noticed the great shadows and shot. Just time for two shots before our 40 strong party was off again.
