A misty walk

A misty walk
Not far from my home we have canals. Here at the Hudderfield canal in the Saddleworth village of Uppermill on can normally walk here in splendour. Today however, the mist has descended and its cold and wet. It doesn't stop folk from walking and exploring though.

Hi Herb

What can I say here! Typical stone, damp, dull, and very industrial looking. All you need is a coal mine and steam locomotive... I like it!!

Thanks again Peter -yep pretty typical Northern weather. I might have known that you would be thinking steam loco's in a shot like this. The two pillars and just two of the many for this high railway viaduct that runs over this canal. An olde canal boat would have been handy here too :)
