Winter comes to the Sierra Bernia

Now this is South Spain -it rarely if ever sees snow but here it is lying on the mountains just behind our apartment here at Cap Negret, Altea. Taken in the Golden Hour, giving this shot that little extra.

I stayed in Altea for a couple of days in 1981 - no snow then, it was July!

Thanks Andy. We liked Altea. Quit a beautiful little town and a good centre from which to travel from. We were just to the north about a mile or so at Cap Negret, where this picture was teaken from.

Was a real sight for us too Jaap when we opened our apartment door to see it like this for the first time. The lighting at sunsets on this landscape was always very nice.
