Penon d'Alfach, up close.

This beautiful and massive limestone outcrop is a real treat when looking at it over the sea from a distance but up close as here in Calp it shows its real beauty. It climbs to 332 metres asl which at 1086ft is approx the same height and steepness here as The North face of Eiger!

In a way it reminds me of Cnicht, steep on the front side, easy round the back.
Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend!
