I recall my one and only kayaking adventure was near here. It was OK, But I'm more of a firm ground under foot kind of guy and was pleased when we did the PIG and Myner's tracks and the Crib Goch - Snowdon horseshoe the next day!

Hi Andy, yes they do do kayaking around here. The river Dee at Llangollen looks quite adventurous for such things. I've never tried that -only a softies canoe trip down the Dordogne. I've Explored around Snowdon in the car and train :) (actually hiked down from the top railway station!)
