Stralsund – St. Marienkirche
Die jüngste gotische Basilika in Backsteinbauweise im nordischen Raum.
Im Bild das Sterngewölbe der südlichen Turmhalle im Westbau.
Bevor 1549 ein Blitzschlag den Turm und seine Spitze zerstört hat, soll die Basilika mit ihrer 151 Meter hohen Spitze (genaue Höhe nicht gesichert) angeblich das weltweit höchste Bauwerk gewesen sein.

Gudrun, da stand immer noch (oder schon wieder) ein Gerüst herum, deshalb konnte ich das Deckengewölbe im Mittelbau nicht ablichten, wo es am interessantesten wäre. ;-)

I do not why, but I feel like I should tilt either my head to left, or turn the image 90 degrees clockwise. But as usual, it is only a matter of taste ;-)

Sami, In reality I took the picture in landscape format as it is here. But then I also had the idea of the portrait format, like you. Finally, I have displayed it in landscape format, because on the screen it is displayed in a format-filling way. This is more attractive. :)

I tried to show it in portrait format in the PiP, but it's not possible to turn a PiP, is it?

No, it is not possible to rotate PiP alone. You have to make a new copy of the image and add that as a PiP.

But I did try it on my own computer, and you are right. The main window is not centered enough, and therefore vertical image turned the way I suggested does not look good. However, turned 90 degrees counter clockwise is rather nice ;-)

Ja, wirklich Ansichtssache, Poly! Ich finde das Bild im Querformat gut so, es zeigt ja kein Christus-Kreuz, das senkrecht stehen muss. - Für ein gedrehtes PiP müsstest du natürlich ein Extra-Bild hochladen.

Ja, ich habe gedacht, es gäbe ev. beim PiP eine eigene Dreh-Funktion, aber dem ist nicht so.
