Yes, I know what you mean (about the games)! :-)

The hotel has 18 floors with 338 rooms and it was open in 1971. This was still in the time of the GDR (German Democratic Republic) when Germany was divided in two parts. Sorry, the Wikipedia article is not available in English :-/
No, I didn't stay in that hotel. The numbers are written for the person which are visible in the picture. Sami Serolea has started to count them :-)
