If I got it right, they first smash the nuts here, and then they "hammer" chocks to squeeze the oil out. Interesting! =)

Sami, I remember Seurasaari Island near Helsinki. This is also a kind of museum of local history.

Never been there, but yes, there are similar museums in Finland where visitors can also see old items used or even participate into action.

I need to add it on the "list of possible places to visit some day". Last summer we drove around south coast. Eastern Finland could be nice to see next summer. I have actually spent quite some time there in 1990s. But Sari hasn't.

South coast is great. I liked Porvoo and the walk along the Porvoonjoki.
When I went to Suomi my first time (around 1982) we went close to the Russian border somewhere near Joensuu. That was in the time of Cold War. A lot of warning and ban signs with Kalaschnikow symbols. A bit scary then :-)

Mecklenburger, früher natürlich mit Wasser, aber die Wassermenge reicht heutzutage nicht mehr aus. Jetzt wird die Mühle elektrisch betrieben.
