Egg-shaped Vase with Flower and Leaves.

Egg-shaped Vase with Flower and Leaves.
A vaguely autumn-themed still life image photographed yesterday. I'm currently in the throes of a stinking cold with a cough.......so I'm staying indoors for day or two.

The flower came from a pot in my front garden, the leaves I collected and dried last week (also from the garden). The background was a sheet of card from a craft shop with a subtle texture added in post processing..

The egg-shaped vase I found recently in a charity shop and liked it so much that I bought it especially to use in photos, so you'll probably be seeing it again.

I have to say Keith, this picture really caught my eye. I think it's fabulous! The hit of colour with the flower against the fading autumn leaves looks superb. I hope we see the vase again because I absolutely love it!!

I'm pretty much back to normal now Rosa.........thanks. Or to quote someone quite close to me "back to my normal annoying self" :-)))

I wouldn't go as far as that Colin........but I do enjoy this sort of stuff especially as we don't get out and about as much as we used too! It keeps me out of trouble.
