They tend to be noisy but are very attractive birds and scared of very little when food is involved!
Two excellent images, and I love the aerobatics of the incoming bird,
I used to have an ornamental water feature on the wall outside the window, but these chaps used it as a bird bath and blocked the filter once too often !

We used to get lots in our garden, but over the years we've seen less and less.......such a shame.

Next to where I took this photo there is always a catering van.........and the starlings have become used to getting fed by people. They are completely fearless and there are always dozens around.

They are used to us humans at this place Fred............as they get well fed..!!

It's common to see them fighting amongst themselves though :-))

They are cheeky, little birds. I have raised three of them from bits of fluff. The male left soon after he learned to fly. Both times the females kept returning for some time. This is a great close shot of these lovely, little birds.

They are indeed Eunice, but they do like to fight amongst themselves as well. Bringing some up must have been a wonderful experience!
