This is the sort of thing you notice when you have a camera in hand Keith. You're right, it does make a good picture. I wouldn't have known what it signifies. Did it have a notice on it?

I'm not sure Herb..........if you Google them, there seem to be all shapes and colours in play and no real indication of what each one means. This one is pretty obvious, but that's not always the case.

I guess the holes offer less wind resistance, but you do have to wonder why sewerage is still going into the sea?
It stands out well against the layered cloud backdrop! And is tack sharp. Excellent capture as always, Keith.

I think you may be right. I think the outfall is only supposed to be used as a last resort to prevent flooding inland...........but as has been on the news lately, the water companies don't seen to play by the rules. I certainly wouldn't swim near there!

Solch ein Schild ist mir noch nie aufgefallen.
Der Mathematiker erkennt sofort, dass die untere Lochreihe unregelmäßig ist. Nach 1, 2, 3, 4 kommt 5, und nicht 4. Aber vielleicht macht dieser Umstand das Schild interessanter.
