River Otter Estuary, Budleigh Salterton, Devon

Such a beautiful place, but out of shot there is an amazing amount of work going on which will include creating mudflats and saltmarsh, moving a road to protect a disused landfill site from erosion, and relocating a cricket club. The restoration of this land will enable better management of flooding, absorb carbon, and provide benefits for people and wildlife.

If we don't protect these ecosystems, eventually they'll disappear and our planet will be in even more trouble than it is.
