River Otter Estuary, Budleigh Salterton, Devon
Such a beautiful place, but out of shot there is an amazing amount of work going on which will include creating mudflats and saltmarsh, moving a road to protect a disused landfill site from erosion, and relocating a cricket club. The restoration of this land will enable better management of flooding, absorb carbon, and provide benefits for people and wildlife.

Best viewed large if you have time. Thanks.

Thanks for your kind comments Tanja..........always appreciated. I shall be going back at some time to see how the work is going. It's a really lovely place already, but it will get much better as the work progresses.

I'm pleased you like it Wilhelm...........thank you.

If we don't protect these ecosystems, eventually they'll disappear and our planet will be in even more trouble than it is.
