Part of a small nature reserve in Emsworth, Hampshire. Better viewed large, I think. There's a closer view of the house in the PiP.

Another look at Farlington Marshes, away from the sea wall this time. On the left, just out of shot is a very large pond. The white posts are to keep walkers away from it as it is an important breeding and nesting area. Walkers are supposed to keep to the right of the posts.

A view across the marshes taken last Sunday morning. The silhouetted people are walking along the sea wall. Another view, looking in the other direction (towards Portsmouth) is in the PiP. You will also get an idea of how many geese were around that day.

This a view along the stream in Brook Meadow, a very small nature reserve in Emsworth, Hampshire. I didn't walk too far on this day......it was wet and boggy and I didn't have the right footwear on as this was an unscheduled visit. I shot this from the bridge over the stream. Try viewing large if you have time.

Part of the nature reserve in Hilsea Lines, near Portsmouth, Hampshire. The railway bridge is part of the main line route between London and Portsmouth. Farlington Marshes is a Nature Reserve in Portsmouth in Hampshire. It is managed by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. It was a mostly overcast and very windy day..........and while there were a lot of birds about, most were too far away for my lenses. Nevertheless, it was a lovely three hour walk in great company :-) This image was taken on my mobile phone. Taken this afternoon at Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve (RSPB). We took the opportunity to go for a walk before the rain set in again. I was quite mild, but very windy with the odd bit of sunshine. There were lots of birds around (we saw three curlews) - all too far away for my lens, but good to watch through binoculars.

This delightful pond sits right next to the main road through Emsworth, and is part of a small nature reserve.

Even a large Greylag Goose doesn't mess with a black headed gull on the warpath.

Taken at Titchfield Haven earlier today. 400mm f4 and a big crop. Shot obscured by some reeds, which I couldn't do anything about and which appear on these shots as very faint out of focus brown streaks - but not too bad though.
