Abstract Reflections

Brought together really well in this collage Keith. Really beautiful! I could sit by the waterside all day watching the rippling water and different shapes....a break for coffee & cake of course!;-)

Thank you so much Rosa...........there were so many boats moored in the marina that it was impossible to get a meaningful shot of the individual boats, so I decided to concentrate on the reflections.

I'm pleased you like the results.

We had the coffee (but no cake) before the walk ;-)

Wot! No cake!!!

Unfortunately not............the cafe was near to closing and had run out. We were lucky to get coffee ;-)

Each of them looks good on its own but grouping them together makes it even better. I love staring into the water and watching it move:-)

I love a bit of abstract and these are rather classy Keith, I like the colour and shape combinations which work really well together, a great idea very well presented.

I wonder what this would look like if there wasn't any white space between the different reflections?

Glad you approve Laura. I think that without the white lines it would not look as interesting. I might give it a try sometime.

Maybe you could try non-round edges while keeping some white space between. Just to play around with it some more. It's just fun to come back and look again!

I use an Apple App called Diptic to do basic collages..........as I'm not keen on spending ages making them from scratch (even if I knew how). So I'm stuck to some extent to how much I can alter them.

Oh yes, I understand. I dislike having to learn whole new systems to do one thing!

Besides, it's lovely the way it is now.
