I love the contorted shape of oak trees and this is a beauty Keith. It's very atmospheric with the grey sky and deep russet coloured leaves. A beautiful November capture.

The king of trees...powerful and protective....our oaktrees are still having their leaves this year..and lots of other trees too...we have sunshine and it seems nature wants so soothe us for all the bad things that happen these days...I like the grey sky...and I wish you happy and healthy days, Keith :)

Great shape to the tree Keith, looks more dramatic like this than had it been blue sky and green leaved.

Wonderful! With most leaves gone the shape of the old tree takes centre stage. The grey sky has lots of detail, I couldn't really imagine blue skies with this photo:-)
