Grey Squirrel

Grey Squirrel
I thought it was about time we had another Grey Squirrel shot (Squirrel Saturday?)

This is one of my regulars sitting on a small seed tray on top of a fence about a metre from my living room window. As long as I don't try to open the window they seem quite happy with me being there, so this was taken through the double glazing.

Check out the PiP for a close-up head shot..!!

The rats ambassador but you can't help but like them, Terrific portrait Keith and the PIP is really good, nice, sharp and focus bang in the middle of the eye.

The detail in the close up is superb Keith. I love the main picture! You can't help but like them for their cheek alone! A weekend to stay indoors I think....have a good one :)

You must get trough some seed Keith. Ours could eat a Kilo over a day or so easily. Notwithstanding another couple of great captures here. Thanks for sharing. Well done

Have a great and healthy week. Herb

Thanks Herb...............I get through loads of seed, mainly mixed feed for the smaller birds, plus sunflower hearts, fat-balls, peanuts and fat-cakes. I have to top up the feeders at least once a day at the moment.

The cost is well worth it for the entertainment :-))

There a few places left in England where red squirrels survive. The Grey Squirrels, which are classed as an invasive species have driven them out. It's not their fault, but it is sad all the same.
