Thanks Rosa. The bumps seem to be a combination of clumps of a rougher grass variety, lots of molehills, and rabbit holes. Quite unusual..........but they don't seem quite as prominent when you're walking across them.

OHHHHHHHHH!!!! This is sooooooooooo beautiful, Keith!!! The mist adds such a magical quality and your composition shows a landscape that enchants the viewer. That meandering road is so perfect, one cannot help but wander along it through the picture. Great just of b/w format too. TERRIFIC. This is such a classic shot for you, what a master you are at these phenomenal landscape shots! :)

Thanks too, for your latest round of fabulous commentary on my pictures, you are the best...and I was hoping you would enjoy the bokeh twin of the frozen drop on the grass! :) That image was interesting too because I hit the Auto adjustment for leveling and the beautiful purples showed up in the image along with the rich greens...I was surprised that it was so colorful, such a treat! :)

The mono bring out the details perfectly! The clumps of rough grass give great texture and the haze makes lovely layers. A very well composed photo.
