I wanted to say thanks for sharing about the power outage on Christmas...it was awfully fun picturing the grandkids having such a good time and hoping for another one...lol...so typical! :D

A good and well placed foreground is a perfect focus for the soft landscape! You had perfect weather and it must have been much nicer there without the summer crowds.
