Bit of snow coming

This is the view out my kitchen door this morning about 9 o'clock.. Over the next 24 or 30 hours, they are predicting, we'll get a total of between 45 and 75 cm of snow, with high winds. Sigh.
It started an hour or two ago and five or eight cm have fallen so far. On the floor of my deck are the boughs I cut from our indoor Christmas tree, which I took down a couple of days ago but hadn't moved yet to the compost pile below. Now the boughs are already covered in snow. (That's okay -- that will make it easier to clean the deck when I shovel it in a day or two.)
And our outdoor Christmas tree is lit for the storm. They just declared a blizzard, so I don't think too many people will see it.
