With some friends, we had walked out to the Narrows, at the end of the St John's Harbour, to watch the arrival of the sailing ship Matthew, a replica of the late-15th-century craft John Cabot had used 500 years before. We did see it arrive and then walked back. This was one of the views of the harbour while we walked home.
