Happy accident

In October 1986 I was shooting Ilford XP1 in my Minolta X370 and I
wasn't paying attention to where the shutter speed dial was: when I
wound the film on, my finger would sometimes change it. I suspect
these two pictures came about as a result of that. Finally scanned
after thirty years.
I was in thick woods, by the way, so -- if you care to look -- there
are trees and sky here. There are some spots on the negatives, too,
and I didn't bother spotting them out. I like it like that.
