Goldfinch scouting about

Hereabouts, winter has not yet set in, so there are still lots of
opportunities for the birds to feed themselves in the wild. Thus, I
haven't put out any birdseed. But today two goldfinches showed up,
looking around, and letting themselves be known to me. Or so I
imagine. I'll probably put some seed out this week.
