Foggy day in Town

I've been going through old negatives lately. This was on APX100,
Agfa's fine-grained, rich-toned black&white film but you'd never know
it looking at this picture. The film was out-of-date when I used it,
but b&w film doesn't age much, so that made little difference. But,
on that dark, cloudy, foggy, misty day, I underexposed it by quite a
lot, and was left with a very thin negative. Scanning it, I was able
to draw some detail from it just the same.
This is Virginia Lake, a.k.a. Virginia Waters, one of the several
ponds in Town that have walking trails near them. It was November
2000; November is only rarely a bright month, and it was not a bright
month that year.
