Lubec, Maine

I am scanning negatives from the late 1980s.
This was August 1988 and we were lounging on a quiet little beach near
Lubec in northern Maine. As the afternoon proceeded the tide slowly
came in, covering the flat stones we were lying around on. I noticed
these two children who'd clambered out to the large rocks and who were
about to be isolated there. A minute or two later, their parents
noticed, came over, and enticed them to walk through the shin-high
water back to safety.
