Westward Ho! with the tide on its way out....
I really love going to Westward Ho! - the beach is so long - almost 3 miles, with gorgeous sand and the pebble ridge which lines this beach does give you a lot of shelter from the offshore winds.

Yes once seen, rarely forgotten is Westward Ho!. I don't think it's changed much, apart from some large apartment blocks trying to drag the village into the 21st century, but it's not going quietly!!!!

Bedankt Frans, ja die sterke balken weerhoudt veel van de golven bij vloed, maar als er tegelijkertijd een storm is, dan slagen de golven er nog steeds in om over de top te gaan. Ze werden daar neergelegd om te voorkomen dat de kiezels bij hoogtij op de huizen werden gegooid. Heb ook een fijn weekend.

Oui Rosemma, c'est un endroit idéal pour se promener, surtout avec vos chiens. Maintenant, elle devient une plage accueillante pour les chiens, ce qui est une bonne nouvelle.
