Looking across the bay towards Baggy Point from the Tors

Looking across the bay towards Baggy Point from the Tors
This is taken from the start of the Tors headland. It looks across the bay towards Saunton Sands with Ilfracombe on the other side of the headland. This is a great place to be when there's a great sunset.

Jenny, this is just so gorgeous. Totally breathtaking. I'd love to stand right there and take in that magnificent view. It's just so pretty!

Thanks so much for your sweet comments about my thorn and snow picture, and also about my dogs. They were such sweet dogs. Miss them every day.

About your kitty...lololol that's so funny to picture. I love it when cats must shake each offended paw that is forced to touch a disdained surface. LOLOL, I do wish so badly that I could have cats, they just kill me. The house would be brimming with them, seriously. But having Pumpkin is worth a lifetime without a cat. How we adore our feathery child! :)

It is indeed a superb place to sit and just watch the sun going down, further to the left there over the ocean. It is a gorgeous view I agree - my mother used to love going there with her dog and going for a walk along the cliffs.

I can fully understand why you don't have cats, Pumpkin wouldn't have such a calm life and the freedom as she does now. I think it's wonderful how you have such a great bond with your little feathered child.

I loved Baggy Point! We spent several weekends there (uni climbing club) in the late 70s, staying in the camp site at Croyde (behind the pub in fact!).
Fine shot!

I haven't been to Baggy Point for a while now, but I can imagine how great it is to climb the cliffs there. That was a good place to have a camp site behind a pub - especially for uni lads!!!!

Moi aussi Rosemma, l’étendue de sable lorsque la marée est basse, puis la grande étendue de mer lorsque la marée est dedans.

Bon week-end aussi Rosemma
