Beautiful Cornwall - I think this is Port Isaac

Beautiful Cornwall - I think this is Port Isaac
I didn't take this photo Pam, my son and his wife went to Cornwall for a weekend and took some wonderful photos, but didn't tell me where this was. If you know Cornwall well, I'm sure you'll recognise this.

Fred Fouarge, buonacoppi, Gracie, Danielle and 7 other people have particularly liked this photo

Many thanks Pat. As I said above - I didn't take the picture, my son did, but I thought Pam would like to see Cornwall.

Oh my, this is so beautiful! The color of the water is incredible. A unique spot and fascinating to look at! :) Thanks for sharing your daughter's photography, I am enjoying each one that I see!

Thank you for the comments about my bead pictures! I'm glad you found it enlightening too. Things are so different these days...both in the way people enjoy dancing and also the education they get. I do know that it's not ALL horrible everywhere but ... for kids like you and me... it's a total shock. It's just sad that what kids these days accept as normal is a dreadful pittance to folks like you and me. Crazy days.

It was taken by my son this time Janet!!!! See it obviously runs in the family. Yes the water around this part of Cornwall is well known for being clear and turquoise. I think the sand is quite white which makes the sea look turquoise - only on sunny days mind you. I understood from Andy that Pam felt Cornwall was where her heart is, so I looked through my son's photos as I'd remembered he'd gone down there a few years ago, it's only about 40 miles from his home so they'd gone down for the day.

Great shot by your son, Jenny and I have a mental block about where this is. Possibly Boscastle but wish I could be sure!!!

I don't think this is Boscastle, because I don't remember them going there - I know they went to the place where they filmed Doc Martin, so it might be there.

Oh it is a fantastic area down here Gracie - we have miles of beautiful coastline, amazing beaches, exciting moorlands, lots of historical landmarks - you name it - we have it. Don't forget that the Pilgrim Fathers set off from Devon to start their new life in the US
