Maybe he'll weigh in on this. I guess it would help if I read more about the act of noticing. What I have read about it seems to have told me far less than your two sentences, though.

Thanks, Denis. I'm new to suburbia so perhaps these things are more obvious to me. A lot less shade here than back where I lived in Toronto.

Yes, there is, Diane. My problem is being alert enough to see it. I lived on the same block in Toronto for over 40 years but in 2019 was still noticing things there that I hadn't noticed before.
