Everydayland

There is something very cartoonish about this. Maybe the bright colors and, at first glance, simple shapes. A new direction?

One of the things I've learned from photography, Bob, is how much I've been influenced by pop art. I think this may have been inspired by Ed Ruscha's gas-station paintings.

This is an old photo, too (taken in 2010) so maybe the new direction is backwards.
