Many fences but almost no-one... confined I guess.
HFF John, stay safe and connected

Everyone's maintaining their distance, though, Xata. Even buddy and his dog. HFF to you and all the best.

Did you forget to add this to the HFF group?

This imagine definitely speaks to the loneliness of suburbia, even at the best of times. The yellow leftover shopping card looks particularly forlorn.

I didn't forget, Sarah. Just didn't think of it as a fence shot. The loneliness of the shopping cart is accentuated by its turning its back to its fellow across the street.

Reminds me - there was someone walking down our street when I went to get the mail, so I walked down the far side of the road, since he was going more slowly than I wanted to walk. Avoiding strangers - and even people we know, and nobody thinks there is anything strange about it. Ah, the plague years.

There's lots of road-crossing to avoid contact in my neighbourhood, too, Bob.

Yes, this reflects the empty feeling of our time very well.

Thanks, George. Unfortunately, this neighbourhood isn't much less empty at the best of times. I guess the parking lot would have more cars in it.

It's odd that a get a greater sense of isolation in this shot with people in it than I do in your recent shots with no people in!

An intriguing capture John. Have a good weekend if you can and stay safe!

Gardons espoir car la rue demeure un peu vivante tout de même mais si peu !

You rarely see pedestrian here at the best of times, Léopold. If this ever ends maybe people will be inspired by months of inactivity to start walking again.
