Pompous fence - HFF

This stone and brick Louis XIII-style orangery with formal gardens was an outbuilding of the old château, built between 1632 and 1634. Today it is a venue for numerous cultural events and can also be hired out for family events.

CLÔTURE POMPEUSE. Cette orangerie en pierre et brique de style Louis XIII avec un jardin à la française était une dépendance de l'ancien château, construite de 1632 à 1634. Aujourd'hui c'est un lieu pour de nombreuses manifestations culturelles et peut être aussi louée pour des évènements familiaux.

POMPÖSER ZAUN. Diese Orangerie aus Stein und Ziegeln im Stil Louis XIII. mit einem Garten im französischen Stil war ein Nebengebäude des alten Schlosses und wurde von 1632 bis 1634 erbaut. Heute ist es ein Ort für zahlreiche kulturelle Veranstaltungen und kann auch für Familienfeiern gemietet werden.

Danke Edna, hab gleich nachgeschaut, wie es aussieht : ich verstehe, was du meinst, aber das Schloss in Rastatt ist viel stattlicher. Hier sind es ja auch nur die Nebengebäude eines längst verschwundenen Schlosses. Einen schönen 1. Mai.

Stimmt, das ist es, also das Rastatter Schloss. Es könnte ein Seitenflügel sein. Dort wurden in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren sogar einige Wohnungen vermietet. Eine Schulfreundin von meiner Schwester wohnte dort und meine Schwester hatte mir erzählt, dass es ihr immer ein wenig unheimlich war, abends auf dem Nachhauseweg durch das leere verlassene Schloss zu gehen. Ich fand das damals allerdings super spannend und fand es schade, dass zu meiner Jugendzeit dort keine Wohnungen mehr vermietet wurden und ich dort keine Freundin besuchen konnte ;-)

Wow, das muss ein Erlebnis sein, in einem Schloss zu wohnen ! Ich hab früher immer angegeben, ich wurde in einem Schloss geboren - stimmt auch, das Krankenhaus war damals dort untergebracht...
