Ah good....was wondering best.way to contact you :-) I am in the process of changing my Internet Provider and things have gone very downhill today!! Have very, very limited access to the internet and haven't found a way of easily uploading a photo. Virgin Media are visiting this afternoon and I should then have full access and hopefully still be able to put a photo into HFF :-) Anyway, in the meantime, HFF Christa and have a lovely weekend.

Danke Lothar, und noch dazu ist es Kraftarbeit, denn ca. alle 2 km muss man raus, die Schleuse ankurbeln, warten, bis die Schleusenkammer sich füllt und dann erst weiter fahren. Es ist auch spannend, dem zuzuschauen. Ebenfalls ein schönes Wochenende.

Wunderbar, diese Schleusen, besonders wenn sie handbetrieben sind!! Erinnert mich an meine Kanalkreuzfahrt in Burgund vor vielen Jahren. Das war ein Spass...und auch jede Menge Arbeit :-)

Danke Uwe. Nein, hier braucht man nichts zu zahlen. Entweder sind die Schleusen autmatisiert, oder man muss sie selbst an- und aufkurbeln - also ein kostenloses aber Kraft forderndes Vergnügen... Ein schönes Wochenende.
